At Drive Safe Medicals we provide medical assessments for lifting equipment operators. Our goal is to screen all existing and potential lifting equipment operators for fitness before and during their employment.
We also recommend renewing an assessment after a short or long employee absence. It is important to recognise that if a GP signs a worker off as fit to return to work, this may not be the same as fitness to operate a lifting equipment. We can provide confirmation of fitness to operate in these circumstances.

- A series of questions about your medical history
- Height and weight measurement
- Blood pressure check
- Eye test
WHAT HAPPENS AFTER I HAVE MADE A BOOKING?
Once you have successfully booked and paid for your appointment. You will be sent a confirmation email of the details of the location, date, and time of the appointment, please read these carefully
WHAT SHOULD I BRING TO THE APPOINTMENT?
- Photo ID – Driving licence/Passport
- Your driving glasses and your glasses prescription if you wear glasses (not contact lenses) to meet the eyesight standard needed for driving
- Your medication prescription
